Scholarships

Currently we are raising funds for school scholarships for students in 3 locations.

Dong Nai ProvinceSecondary and primary schools.

We currently work in these locations and are familiar with their needs. Resources/students/education.

Charity School130 children.   Without this school and your  scholarship donations these children  would  face a very bleak future.

Mekong Delta – 20 Highschool Students

$150 per student per annum

(provides transport, uniforms, school fees and books)

The basic cost for a High School student is naturally higher.  In addition, for this group, because of the geography of the area, the highwinds and the distance to the High School, students must pay the cost to travel by Motorbike that is an added financial burden for their impoverished families

Bikes $ 50

Bikes are a most valued/treasured resource for children in Vietnam especially rural children.  Many of these children must travel long distances to school.  The families cannot afford motorcycle or other transport.   Therefore after the children have done their daily work in the field at home it is an arduous task to then have to walk long distances to school.  Often they are simply to tied or it is too late to attend school.  Bikes are the key to the child continuing their education and having a brighter future.

Erigo presented bicycles to selected recipients.

We also provided notebooks, educational resources  and games for students studying English.

We are currently fundraising to provide a library/reading room to these students. Please see our Wish List for details.

The  gift of a bicycle to selected recipients is an ongoing project.

A new dorm for Teachers is on our “Wish List”.

Charity School and Orphanage

This school is run by donation and educates 130 children.  Your donation by way of scholarship $150 per child per annum or contribution to educational resources will ensure these children continue to receive an education.

Erigo has in the past provided educational resources and desks.

Education Resources Fund

In many localties there may be a school building/kindegarten but they are sadly lacking in resources even those which we in the 1st world would consider basic ie notebooks and pencils.   Erigo Inc in consultation with the school puts together a appropriate package of resources.
