ERIGO Scholarships

Primary school               $100 per child p.a.

Highschool                      $150 per child p.a.

Often rural children are forced through poverty to cease their education and work on the family farm or find other employment with limited skills.   Others simply drift into the factory towns and cities seeking employment.   Sadly with no skills and social awareness/resources they often simply become “street children” and vulnerable to exploitation.

Children on the Erigo Inc. Scholarship program are selected by the local community.  Every child and their family are interviewed and there are home visits.  Erigo Inc. together with the local community monitors the progress of the recipients and they receive ongoing encouragement.   It is important the family supports the child’s continuing education.  Your donation will cover school fees, uniforms and basic books for one year.
